Ovid Elucian Flowers was the 5th child of Ovid Earl Flowers and Florence Faye Dunham Flowers.
He was born in Crowville, Franklin Parish, Louisiana on 21 June 1930.
Ovid joined the Air Force when he was 17.
He was stationed at Scott Air Force when he met Glenda Ruth Henneke through her Older brother, William Junior Henneke.
Ovid and Glenda Ruth were married on 25 June 1949 in St. Louis, Missouri
Ovid and Glenda had 7 children, 4 boys and 3 girls.
Ovid retired from the Air Force after 20 years and then went to work at General Dynamics in Fort Worth, Texas for a few years.
When he left General Dynamics he went to work for the postal service, training new postal employees in Norman, Oklahoma.
Ovid and Glenda were married for 18 years and then divorced.
Ovid then married a second time for a number of years and then divorced.
After divorceing his 2nd wife he then married Betha Butler. Ovid and Betha remained married until his death.
Ovid passed away on 9 June 2000 at the age of 69.
